 The goal of our committee is to retain, strengthen, and support existing businesses, including small business; to build a robust and comprehensive retention and expansion program for the Blue Water Region, and; develop a network of resources to help existing businesses expand their product lines to produce new goods, utilizing existing employees, equipment, and capital.

Blue Water Business Council

In November, 2010 ~  A Blue Water Business Council was established for the EDSP region.  The council is an independent organization led by regional business leaders (senior), owners and CEO’s to benchmark and share best practices, as well as a catalyst for encouraging local buying habits.  It’s crucial in today’s global economy to have open dialogue where  business needs and new opportunities can be discussed and pursued, and opportunities for collaboration can be capitalized upon.    

Come join the BWBC on February 10, 2012 and hear special guests speakers Lt. Gov. Brian Calley, Steve Glogowski and Senator Phil Pavlov discuss the business climate in Michigan and plans to change it.
