ABOUT THE BWBC:

The Blue Water Business Council exists to be a force that benefits businesses in the Blue Water Area by impacting the business climate in a positive fashion.  We expect to influence business practices and opportunities that collectively benefit the entire community.   With goals being to focus on business topics to improve the community, invite selected business professionals and legislative officials to speak on relevant business topics or pending legislation and to create opportunities to network with other area contacts.

The focus of the “Where Blue Meets Green” plan is on jobs and on the

 region’s economy.

The strategic plan is built on three interlocking core values:

   People  - Place  - Prosperity

More than 100 volunteers who live and work in the Blue Water Region have invested many hours working diligently to develop the “Where Blue Meets Green” roadmap defining specific actions to enable the Blue Water Region to compete and prosper in the future. To implement this plan, people, businesses, and organizations from all across St. Clair County must work together for the economic success of this entire region.
